The God and the Devil

The age old convictions designate God as the creator of earth and of the life on earth. We believe that during the descent of god even the devil had put its feet on earth so as to counteract the good and the right way. According to Christianity, God surely did not create the devil but he did give the options to Adam Eve to choose their own path or follow the path of their creator. This was the time when devil showed up and created a deception of what really a human could be without the chains of restrictions, thus abandoning the very words of god and in turn creating a conflicting world with rivalries over light, life and liberty. There’s always a necessity to know what truly the human beings deserve and why they victimize the devil to be unpleasant and cruel???

To put on with a layman’s words, god was personified by our forefathers to help build a positive approach towards life when someone was hurt and the devil was an illusion created by the people to protect their interests and create an expression of fear in their minds so as to keep them away from the easy access of treasures, secrets etc… The world is jam-packed with the conflicting ideologies like light-dark, right-wrong, good-evil and god-devil, all of them indicating the same source of origin that’s human beings. It’s true that both good and the bad retains in one individual as of the god and devil in the same world. The devil, also indicating the bad side of the society fills the voids created by the new sense of human beings so as to counteract the force of good.

As we human beings grow, we start to nurture those habits which are thought or influenced by the surroundings that we live in. Since both the qualities persist in an individual, it’s obvious for him to easily switch over to different personalities depending upon the extent of influence he has undergone with the good-bad qualities. It’s never late for someone to change his attitude, habits because all these qualities that we talk about are primarily controlled and regulated by our soul which has the ability to manipulate the adversities. Its human nature to commit mistakes and sin, but it’s the nature of devil to allow his regrets die and influence his cruelty to dominate over his good thoughts. His consciousness would never accept the reality since it is the contrary of what the human beings are really valued for – Humanity. The god being benevolent and the devil being malevolent are always contradictory to each other but has anyone ever thought what made people think the devil as a bad creature?  What if the devil was something else?

It has been the nature of human beings to criticize everyone for at least those who come in their way. Religion, politics, society has created a bias between the good and the bad but what if the bad was a dark side of good? And what if the bad could be easily handled and corrected? We all worship god in specific places called temples, we compromise ourselves that there are messengers of god who could heal our soul out from the devil and we also sacrifice loads of money over these places simply to purify ourselves. But finally its inside us that we find the god and the devil, it should be our practice to praise and harm ourselves for our good and bad. The philosophy completely supports the belief in god and the devil but it does not quote for the extraordinary activities that deities take up…
