A Story amongst us.
Truth is always bitter and hard to accept. Some are so fiercely that people know about its illness but fail to talk about them.
U may ask what happens
with talking about some of those truths which are kept abandoned from the reach
of sensible people in a insensible society?
Illness should be cured
as and when it is felt. People cannot neglect the wound in the society only
because it never happened in a place where they can see. Sometimes unseen and
unfelt wound needs better care to make the society more livable and justified. The
Illness I am talking about is the “Taboo” that we people carry in this society
only because no one talked about it.
By accepting the truth,
we are free to talk about it. And with the freedom comes the rationality. And
with the rationality comes decision making. And with the decisions comes changes.
And with the change will the society run towards an equilibrium, in the hopes
of a better world.
Once
my friend said, “I think we people can never attain equilibrium and the equal
society is a myth”.
So,
I asked, “What do you think are we doing as a whole in the society?”
The reply was rigid and
plausible, “We are becoming better day by day while the evils are changing it the
same time. So, it’s something like - we are battling the evils only with a hope
of equal society”.
So, what is the truth???
It will be revealed by
itself while you read the article…
Many a times people dream
big but circumstances bind them to a different fate. Many feel they are not in
the right place. Many feel they were pushed, cheated or convinced to stay in
the place they are today. This is where the regret begins…
Now how many of us turn
the tide to our advantage even though its hard to accept the life it gives to
us?
Accepting the life when its
something to never return back, deciding to live a life amongst the darkness
and then raising up to a position such that speaking about it openly and
fighting for the downtrodden becomes the life’s only goal – This attitude and
courage steals a lot of happiness, comfort and peaceful nights. But the soul
who fights for it will someday be remembered for what they truly wanted and not
for what they were named amongst the filthy people.
I’m talking about –
Gangubhai Kathiawadi.
Don’t judge by the name
and the cover. The movie has a lot to teach about life than to quench the thirst
of young and adults…
The moment your eyes
catch a glimpse of the image above, a lot runs in the mind.
An
entertainment– NO,
A
Commercial movie – NO and
NO to all those desires and lustful thoughts that pop up in our monkey minds.
“Prostitution”- the word
surely pops up as an illness in this so called “pure society”. We have always
been laughing and mocking about the prostitution whenever heard. But have we
ever thought what the ones who go through it feels like?
Have we ever tried to
stand in their boots once to see what they see???
I don’t want this article
to be a debate or a place to justify what I feel. I am not the right person to
advise as of now. So, I can only do one thing for now – make you all feel what
I felt. This article would be a clear message to watch the movie not expecting
anything.
“Sometimes life teaches
good things when we aren’t expecting anything”.
What to carefully observe
while watching the movie?
·
Deception – how people can fool and make
your life miserable.
·
Torture – how the illness can kill the
true self.
·
Acceptance and Resilience – how a girl
accepts her life but never compromises with the self-esteem.
·
Motivation and Support – how the girl even
in her hard times still makes a way to help her fellow friends out of the misery.
·
Character – how the burning heart with a
smiling face leads a life different from the rest.
·
Sacrifice - The happiness and the comfort
she sacrifices, the pain she welcomes into her life only to help her people - keeps
her high always.
With all these, a greatest
lesson would be about the acceptance of a life which everyone shamed and mocked.
Once you watch the movie,
the people who wish to learn something out of it will surely have lots to take home.
A better understanding and a true feeling.
Till you feel what I felt
– Adios…
